‘Mubadala Capital and Woori Venture Partners ink agreement’

Mubadala Capital, the asset management subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company, and Woori Venture Partners, a subsidiary of Woori Financial Group in South Korea, have announced a strategic partnership by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU). The partnership aims to explore global investment opportunities in various sectors.

The MoU outlines that Mubadala Capital’s Solutions platform and Woori Venture Partners will work together to identify investment opportunities and establish a dedicated committee to facilitate cooperation between the two organizations. Hani Barhoush, CEO and Managing Director of Mubadala Capital, expressed excitement about the partnership and highlighted the importance of long-term collaborations.

Chang Kyu Kim, CEO of Woori Venture Partners, also expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration and emphasized the strategic significance of aligning with Mubadala Capital’s global investment network. The partnership is expected to drive mutual growth and strengthen cooperation among group entities in the future.

In 2022, Mubadala Capital launched the Solutions platform, consisting of three integrated businesses that invest globally across various assets and sectors. The platform, initially supported by a .7 billion portfolio from Mubadala Capital’s balance sheet, offers a diversified investment strategy with low volatility and attractive cash yield.

The partnership between Mubadala Capital and Woori Venture Partners signifies a commitment to exploring new investment opportunities and fostering collaboration in the global market.
