The Allen Architecture Interiors Design (AAID) recently completed an impressive renovation project for OQT’s offices in Dubai, focusing on creating a workspace that promotes employee well-being and productivity. Situated in the bustling Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the project involved refurbishing the existing space on level 7 and fitting out a new space on level 6, with the primary goal of prioritizing employee wellness.

The office space seamlessly transitions from vibrant client-centric areas to tranquil work and wellness zones, incorporating architectural forms, fluidity, and natural materials. Key design features include a multipurpose area with tiered seating, a gaming zone, and a lounge, as well as a serviced cafe with diverse seating options. The majlis overlooks the Museum of the Future and blends light earth tones with vibrant decorative elements, creating a sense of refined luxury.
In terms of materials, AAID opted for clean and simple finishes that reflect a vibrant and energetic ambiance. Soft finishing and concentrated color pockets create a rhythm that energizes the space, while opulent materials like marble, brass metal, and velvet upholstery add a touch of luxury. The challenges posed by curved surfaces were met with innovative solutions, showcasing AAID’s commitment to excellence in execution.
