Enhancing Well-Being through Mindfulness: Join Us for Weekly Meditation Sessions
In today’s fast-paced world, stress management and mindfulness have become essential aspects of maintaining mental health and well-being. In response to this growing need, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) is pleased to invite members of its community to participate in its weekly “Mindful Wednesdays” and “Mindful Thursdays” meditation sessions. These drop-in sessions are designed to provide a welcoming environment for all, irrespective of meditation experience or expertise.
Scheduled from 12:15 PM to 12:35 PM every Wednesday, the Mindful Wednesday sessions will be held in-person at the Center for Well-Being, located in Daniels Hall, room 102E. Participants can also engage virtually through Zoom, providing flexibility for those unable to attend in person. Expert guidance is a cornerstone of these sessions. A certified meditation teacher will lead the meditation practices, offering tailored guidance for both novices and seasoned practitioners. This ensures that everyone can feel comfortable and supported as they explore techniques for cultivating mindfulness and reducing stress.
In addition to the weekly meditation sessions, participants will receive a helpful resource every Friday titled “Mindfulness Tools To-Go.” This email will consist of valuable information, including meditation techniques, inspiring poems shared during the week, and other mindfulness resources aimed at enhancing participants’ personal practices.
