This event not only highlighted the rapid expansion of the brand, which now spans 65 countries, but also introduced the groundbreaking “1,000-Hours of Local Flavours” initiative. This new concept, which will be implemented at select Mercure hotels worldwide, aims to immerse guests in the rich culinary landscapes of their respective destinations through local dishes and beverages.

The “1,000-Hours of Local Flavours” initiative epitomizes Mercure’s commitment to honoring and sharing the authentic tastes of each market in which it operates. By offering unique culinary experiences for a limited time—1,000 hours to be exact—this program encourages hotel guests to partake in the local culture and traditions through gastronomy. According to Mercure, each dish and beverage featured in this initiative will be thoughtfully curated in collaboration with local producers and suppliers, ensuring an authentically local experience.
