Meeting between Mohammed bin Rashid and King of Bahrain

DUBAI – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, recently met with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, to discuss ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries. The meeting, which took place at His Majesty’s residence in Abu Dhabi, highlighted the growing ties between the UAE and Bahrain under King Hamad’s leadership.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed King Hamad and expressed his wishes for the continued prosperity of Bahrain and its people. The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to building on the historical ties between the two countries to enhance cooperation in various sectors such as economy, commerce, and tourism. They also discussed the importance of strengthening Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) collaboration both regionally and globally.

The discussions during the meeting focused on the sustainable development efforts of both countries and explored new areas for cooperation. Additionally, opportunities for advancing trade and government operations were explored to further boost bilateral relations. Both leaders emphasized the need for increased coordination among GCC countries to ensure continued development in the region.

The meeting was attended by dignitaries and senior officials from both countries, including Major General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
