Aisha Al Marshoodi, Manager of Human Capital at the Capital Health Screening Centre under Mubadala Health, shared her perspective on Emirati Women’s Day, emphasizing its importance in celebrating progress, excellence, and the exceptional achievements of women in the UAE. “Empowered women help strengthen the world. Emirati Women’s Day is a celebration of our commitment to progress and excellence. I am proud to play a role in shaping and recognizing the potential and extraordinary accomplishments of women who are redefining the future,” Al Marshoodi remarked in an exclusive interview with Aletihad.

Dr. Sara Haboosh Al Hebshi, a Consultant in Endocrinology at the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, underscored the significance of this day in honoring the resilience of women and acknowledging the influential role that mothers play in shaping one’s journey to success. Reflecting on her own experience, Dr. Al Hebshi expressed her gratitude for her mother’s unwavering support and belief in her dreams, which empowered her as a female physician. “On Emirati Women’s Day, let us celebrate the resilience of women in medicine and honor the influential role our mothers have in our journey to success,” she stated passionately.

Dr. Bashaer Gheyath, a Consultant Cardiologist at Healthpoint, also shared her insights on the empowering essence of Emirati Women’s Day. She highlighted the ability of women to create, nurture, and transform, emphasizing their symbolic strength and potential. “Emirati Women’s Day not only celebrates us but also highlights the Emirati woman as a symbol of strength and potential. Within her lies the power to create, nurture, and transform,” Dr. Gheyath explained.
