‘Marzamemi brings a taste of Sicily to Richmond with new launch’

A new festival, Marzamemi, is set to take place in South West London’s Old Deer Park in Richmond on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July. This event promises a weekend filled with delicious food, music, stylish interiors, homeware, and more, all inspired by the rich culture of Italy.

Attendees can look forward to a feast of Italian delights, including deli goods from Lina Stores, oysters from The Oyster Society, pizza from Base Face Pizza, savory treats from Crosta & Mollica, arancini from Arancina, pasta from The Original Carbonara, and much more. The event will also feature Granita and Gelato from The Sicilian Deli, authentic Italian coffee, and sweet treats like Sicilian cannoli and cassatine from Etna Coffee.

In addition to the culinary delights, Marzamemi will offer a lineup of live musicians and DJs, with performances by UK Garage royalty Sweet Female Attitude and other talented artists like Emily Rawson, Fabienne, Super K, Just Hannah, Kamilla Rose, and more.

For those with a passion for interior design and homeware, Marzamemi will showcase handpicked pieces from local suppliers and tastemakers, curated by Ceraudo. Festival attendees can shop for unique products or simply browse for inspiration amidst stunning summer designs.

The festival will transform Old Deer Park into a seaside paradise reminiscent of Southern Italy, with festoon lights, olive trees, and beautifully decorated tents transporting guests to Mediterranean climes. Families can enjoy a range of activities for children, including an inflatable ‘ocean’ and beach area, silent cinema, disco, and a fancy dress area inspired by traditional Sicilian costumes.

Founder Emily Ceraudo expressed her excitement about bringing Marzamemi to Richmond, describing it as a celebration of her Italian culture. Ticket prices for the event will start at £55 per adult and £15 per child, with SUPER VIP tickets available for £75.

Those interested in attending can find more information and purchase tickets on the Marzamemi website at www.marzamemi.co.uk.
