Luxury Tourism Promoted in Oman

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in Oman recently organized the third edition of the “Global Travel Week – Middle East” event, bringing together 94 tourism specialists from around the world and 31 Omani tourism establishments and hotels. The focus of this B2B event was to promote luxury tourism in Oman.

Haitham bin Muhammad al Ghassan, the Director General of Tourism Promotion at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, emphasized the value of the event in showcasing luxury tourism companies. He stated that previous editions of the event have demonstrated its ability to provide significant benefits to businesses and companies in the industry.

Furthermore, the Director General highlighted that hosting such events contributes to strengthening international cooperation in the luxury tourism sector, facilitating the exchange of experiences and knowledge. This initiative ultimately enhances Oman’s reputation as a premier luxury tourist destination on a global scale.
