Luxury Lounge on Wheels: G-Class Customization Goes Beyond Mercedes’ Original Design

A unique and luxurious Maybach G-Class model, dubbed the Metagarage 1-of-1 G900 Maybach, has made its debut in Dubai. This extravagant off-roader is a complete departure from the standard Mercedes-AMG G63, retaining only the iconic design elements that have characterized the G-Wagon since its inception in the late 1970s.

Despite keeping the classic round headlights, hood-mounted turn indicators, and exterior door hinges, the Metagarage 1-of-1 G900 Maybach boasts a complete overhaul in terms of appearance. The tuning house has introduced a Maybach-style radiator grille with glossy black vertical slats and ample chrome accents, along with the signature double M logo prominently displayed above it.

The vehicle features unique multi-spoke light alloy wheels, redesigned exhaust tips, new side sills, and a prominent Maybach badge on the C-pillar. The interior has been transformed with white perforated leather, enhanced comfort features for rear passengers, and entertainment amenities, including individual displays and adjustable footrests.

Under the hood, the G900 Maybach retains the 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine, delivering 577 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque through a nine-speed automatic gearbox. With impressive performance figures, including a 0-60 mph time of 3.9 seconds, this luxury SUV combines power and opulence seamlessly.

Although pricing details are undisclosed, customers ordering the Metagarage 1-of-1 G900 Maybach can expect exclusive benefits. Given the vehicle’s debut in Dubai, renowned for luxury and extravagance, it is safe to say that this unique G-Class model won’t come cheap.
