‘Luxury Airline adds more flights to the Caribbean’

Luxury airline Tradewind Aviation has exciting news for travelers looking to explore the Caribbean in style this winter. Founded in 2001 by Eric and David Zipkin, this award-winning private aviation provider is now expanding its scheduled flights to key vacation destinations in the region.

Tradewind Aviation initially focused on the Northeastern U.S. but has since broadened its services to include the Caribbean. With the upcoming winter season approaching, the airline is strengthening its presence in the area with new flight routes.

Starting on November 21, Tradewind will offer scheduled flights from San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU), to the island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands (BVI). Tortola, the largest of the BVI’s islands, boasts luxury resorts, vibrant townships, ancient ruins, and pristine beaches. Flights will operate from Thursdays to Mondays until April 21, 2025, with fares starting at just 9 one way.

On the same day, seasonal flights to Virgin Gorda (VIJ) from San Juan will also commence. This smaller island in the British Virgin Islands is known for its exclusive villas, upscale restaurants, and stunning attraction, the Baths. Fares for these flights start at 3 one way and will run until April 21, 2025.

To further expand its Caribbean offerings, Tradewind will launch scheduled flights to Anguilla (AXA) from Gustaf III Airport (SBH) in St Barths, VC Bird International Airport (ANU) in Antigua, and San Juan on December 19. Travelers can look forward to white beaches, exceptional dining, and a variety of watersports on this tiny island nation. Prices for flights from San Juan start at 5 one way, from St Barths at 5 one way, and from Antigua at 0 one way. Services to Anguilla will operate until April 14, 2025.

David Zipkin, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Tradewind Aviation, expressed excitement about the new flight routes, stating, “We are offering more convenience to destinations that provide the luxury hospitality and vacation experiences our clientele desire. We are all working together to boost tourism and cultural exchange in the Caribbean, and we’re looking forward to sharing in the successes.” With these expanded flight options, travelers can now easily hop between some of the Caribbean’s most desirable vacation spots in ultimate comfort and style.
