“Loss of Top Spot at Changi Airport”

Changi Airport Loses Its Top Spot as World’s Best Airport
Singapore, known for its achievements despite its small size, has lost its title as the world’s number one airport. In the latest world’s best airport awards by Skytrax, Doha’s Hamad International Airport claimed the top spot, a title it also held in 2021 and 2022.
The massive airport in Doha, which offers amenities such as a spa and a hotel, was voted number one by travelers from over 100 nationalities who participated in the survey. Despite this loss, Singapore’s Changi Airport still has much to celebrate, having been named the world’s best airport 12 times by Skytrax.
Changi Airport also retained its titles as the ‘Best Airport in Asia’ and for having the ‘World’s Best Airport Immigration Service.’ The top 10 airports in the 2024 Skytrax rankings are as follows:
1. Hamad International Airport
2. Singapore Changi Airport
3. Incheon International Airport
4. Haneda Airport
5. Narita International Airport
6. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport
7. Dubai International Airport
8. Munich International Airport
9. Zurich International Airport
10. Istanbul International Airport
While Changi Airport may have lost its top spot this year, it continues to be recognized for its exceptional service and facilities, solidifying its position as one of the best airports in the world.
