The South Lake Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of Portillo’s in Clermont with a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony. Located at 1251 E. Hwy. 50, the new restaurant offers a variety of Chicago-style street food such as hot dogs, Italian beef and sausage sandwiches, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, and their famous chocolate cake shakes.

The 7,700-square-foot restaurant can accommodate 170 guests indoors and an extra 50 guests on their outdoor patio. Attendees were treated to a taste of Portillo’s menu during the event, savoring the delicious offerings.
