Leaders of two nations discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, recently held a meeting with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow at the cabinet’s headquarters in Ashgabat.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mansour conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and expressed his sincere wishes for the progress and prosperity of Turkmenistan, its leadership, government, and people. He emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries to achieve development, prosperity, and progress for their respective peoples.

In response, President Berdimuhamedow extended his greetings to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and wished for the UAE’s continued progress and prosperity under his wise leadership. He praised the longstanding ties between the two countries, highlighting their mutual respect, shared visions on joint issues, and cooperation in various beneficial areas.

The discussions between the two leaders focused on enhancing cooperation in areas such as economy, investment, renewable energy, artificial intelligence, innovation, and other sectors aligned with the development priorities of both the UAE and Turkmenistan. They reiterated their commitment to supporting and strengthening their relations through constructive cooperation.

Sheikh Mansour expressed his gratitude to the President and people of Turkmenistan for the warm welcome and hospitality received during his visit. Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed at the presidential airport by Rashid Meredov, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, along with other senior officials.

Overall, the meeting between Sheikh Mansour and President Berdimuhamedow highlighted the mutual desire to deepen cooperation and further strengthen the friendly relations between the two nations.
