Leaders in the UAE send greetings for Ramadan
The President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to mark the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. The UAE’s moon-sighting committee officially announced the start of Ramadan after the sighting of the crescent moon on Sunday.
In a message shared on social media, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his best wishes to all those observing Ramadan, emphasizing the importance of unity, compassion, and spiritual growth during this period of reflection and prayer. He wished everyone a blessed Ramadan filled with peace and harmony.
Additionally, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as well as His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also sent similar messages marking the start of Ramadan.
Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members, Rulers of the Emirates, and the Ruler’s Representatives in Al Ain and Al Dhafra all congratulated Sheikh Mohamed on the beginning of Ramadan, wishing him a month full of goodness and blessings. UAE leaders also extended their warm wishes to the Kings, Emirs, and Presidents of Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion of Ramadan.
