Kamala Harris visits Charlotte to address climate change

Vice President Kamala Harris is set to visit Charlotte on Thursday to deliver a speech at the Naomi Drenan Center regarding the Biden administration’s efforts to combat climate change. Following this, she will officially open a Biden campaign field office in Uptown.

The Biden campaign has been heavily investing in North Carolina, with the Charlotte office being one of 10 throughout the state. Political expert Chris Cooper from Western Carolina University believes that North Carolina is a top priority for the Biden campaign, especially in efforts to sway voters who previously supported Trump.

With an already substantial million investment in North Carolina advertisements, experts anticipate that this number will only continue to rise in the coming months. The Biden campaign’s focus on the state highlights its strategic importance in the upcoming election.
