‘Joint Statement from UAE and Oman emphasizes peace, stability, and prosperity for all nations’

The United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman have released a joint statement following a two-day visit by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq to the UAE.

In light of regional challenges, both sides called for restraint to protect the region from escalation and instability, emphasizing the importance of abiding by international law and resolving disputes through diplomacy and dialogue. They also called on the United Nations and the Security Council to uphold their responsibilities in promoting international peace and security.

On the economic and investment front, the leaders praised efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation, encouraging the public and private sectors to boost trade exchange and investment. They highlighted the need for strategic partnerships to meet the aspirations of their peoples and advance cooperation in the future.

At the end of the visit, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq expressed gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality extended by the UAE, wishing continued progress and prosperity for the country.
