Jeremy Olander’s Debut ‘HOLMEN’ Release on a New Interstellar Label
Renowned Swedish DJ, producer, and label owner Jeremy Olander is all set to introduce ‘Holmen,’ the debut release from the newly established label, Interstellar. Positioned as a fresh imprint under the Insomniac Music Group umbrella and regarded as a sister label to Insomniac Records, Interstellar aims to serve as a sanctuary for melodic house, techno, progressive house, deep house, and more. Originally planned as a festival last year, which unfortunately got canceled due to adverse weather conditions, Interstellar now emerges not only as a label but also as a brand for clubs and events. With a vision to create a space for all things ethereal, the label is kicking off with the release of Olander’s single, ‘Holmen,’ on March 22nd.
‘Holmen’ embodies the essence of Interstellar’s sound, pulsating with a jungle beat that transitions into choppy sounds and twinkling synths, culminating in captivating breakdowns of ethereal melodies. The debut label release promises to deeply resonate with listeners, offering a euphoric journey that transcends genre boundaries and transports them to a different state of consciousness. Olander shares that the single was created for a special show at the Department Festival in Stockholm, intending to set the tone for a festival set with its melodic and emotional elements.
Jeremy Olander’s journey in electronic music began with a significant partnership, being the first artist signed to Eric Prydz’s Pryda Friends label. This collaboration propelled Olander to the forefront of the melodic house and techno scene, leading to performances at iconic venues like Madison Square Garden and Brixton Academy alongside Prydz. In 2014, Olander established his imprint, Vivrant, as a platform to showcase his distinct sound and support like-minded artists. His releases on Vivrant and other esteemed labels garnered widespread acclaim, solidifying his reputation as an emotive and immersive producer. Olander’s global presence was further cemented by becoming the first Nordic act in Cercle history to feature in the revered filmed series, joining the ranks of renowned artists like Solomun and Tale of Us.
Currently on his Winter/Spring 2024 tour, Olander continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his evocative performances, sharing his passion for music with fans across the globe. Interstellar, alongside Jeremy Olander, pledges to push the boundaries of electronic music, with ‘Holmen’ setting the stage for an exciting musical journey ahead. With a promise to redefine the electronic music scene, Interstellar’s launch is met with anticipation and excitement from listeners eager to embark on this musical adventure.
