Introducing the Latest Blipblox myTRACKS: Your New Must-Have Toy-Like Instrument

Playtime Engineering is set to launch a new kid-friendly music-making tool called the Blipblox myTRACKS on April 9. This innovative toy-instrument hybrid features a built-in microphone for sampling, two FX processors, five tracks, and 25 play pads that can trigger over 50 real acoustic, electronic, and percussive sounds. Users can explore a wide range of built-in instruments and drum kits across the five tracks, adding effects and modulating them using the two purple levers. The built-in microphone allows players to sample any sound and create songs around those samples.

Troy Sheets, Co-founder of Playtime Engineering, expressed his passion for creating music with synthesizers and modern music tech, stating that it has always felt like play to him. By combining the portability, durability, and safety of toys with the functionality of a legitimate instrument, Playtime Engineering has designed a fun and accessible music-making machine that anyone can enjoy.

Co-founder Kate Sheets highlighted the company’s journey of bootstrapping and crowdfunding, which has allowed them to develop a creative line of instruments. Grateful for the support received for their previous products, including the original Blipblox and Blipblox After Dark, Playtime Engineering looks forward to welcoming more music enthusiasts to the Blipblox community with the launch of myTRACKS.
