Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum recently met with a group of prominent Dubai businessmen to discuss the importance of charitable and humanitarian initiatives in bolstering Dubai’s global presence and status. During the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan expressed his appreciation for the philanthropists’ efforts in supporting charity initiatives and alleviating the suffering of those in need.

Highlighting the significance of humanitarian work in Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that the emirate’s dedication to doing good reflects the values instilled by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The businessmen in attendance have made significant contributions to Dubai’s humanitarian efforts and economic growth, including partnerships with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI).

Sheikh Hamdan praised the impact of MBRGI’s projects and programs in improving the lives of millions of people worldwide. He noted that Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum serves as a role model for governance, the economy, sport, and humanitarian work, with MBRGI’s initiatives benefiting over 102 million people in 100 countries in 2022 alone.

The meeting was also attended by key figures from MBRGI, including Secretary-General Mohammed Al Gergawi and Assistant Secretary-General Saeed Mohammad Al Eter. The businessmen present, such as Marwan A Al Rostamani, Mohamed Al Ansari, and Yusuffali MA, expressed their pride in contributing to the UAE’s culture of generosity through their support for humanitarian initiatives.
