‘Hönle’s New LED Powerline LC HV Set to Debut at Trade Show’

Hönle Group, a Germany-based company, is set to unveil its latest innovation, the LED Powerline LC HV, at the upcoming drupa event. This new system is designed to provide rapid and energy-efficient curing of printing inks and varnishes.

The LED Powerline LC HV is a water-cooled and adjustable LED-UV curing device that can be utilized for both pinning and final curing in a wide range of printing applications, from paper to film, and even 3D printing. Its modular design allows for optimal length adjustment, leading to variable format shutdown and significant energy savings.

In addition to the LED Powerline LC HV, Hönle Group will also showcase the LED Powerline system at drupa. This system is specifically optimized for greater distances to the substrate, with special focusing optics ensuring excellent curing results even at high printing speeds. The modular construction of the LED Powerline allows for format shutdown, enabling efficient curing on substrates of varying sizes.

Dr. Tim Rüttermann, head of the new Hönle curing business unit, highlighted the company’s focus on LED-UV systems for digital, sheet-fed, and web printing applications at drupa. These systems not only offer advantages such as higher throughput speeds and reliable printing results, but also contribute to the sustainability of printing processes through their low energy consumption and format shutdown capabilities.

Visitors to the Hönle Group stand at drupa will have the opportunity to learn about the company’s comprehensive service offerings for curing and drying solutions at a dedicated service point. This highlights the company’s commitment to providing top-notch service in addition to innovative products.
