‘Hammonds House Museum Receives ,000 Grant from NEA’

Hammonds House Museum has been awarded a ,000 Arts Project Award from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to support their current exhibition, “Rhythm of Resilience: The Artistry of Sam Middleton.” This exhibition opened on May 17 and will run until August 18.

NEA Chair Maria Rosario Jackson, PhD, praised projects like “Rhythm of Resilience” for their ability to tell community stories creatively, foster connections, and address challenges through the arts. The NEA believes that investing in art and design not only enhances cultural vitality but also contributes to community health, infrastructure, and the economy.
