Grapevine to Host Solar Eclipse Watch Party

Meow Wolf in Grapevine is gearing up for a one-of-a-kind event centered around the upcoming solar eclipse. Dubbed “The Real Unreal,” this interactive art exhibit will host a solar eclipse watch party on April 8th. Guests can expect a stunning array of art and activities to enjoy during this celestial phenomenon.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore autonomous geometric spaceships, gluttonous interstellar drones, and even a floating baby grub within “The Real Unreal.” In addition to the art, guests can grab a pair of Meow Wolf protective eclipse glasses and step outside to witness the historic event.

During the watch party, from noon to 3 p.m., guests can take part in cyanotype paper crafting, shadow puppetry, and space-age face painting. The event will also feature galactic-themed food and beverages from Celestial Brewing, Nikki’s Popcorn, and Hive Bakery. Inside the exhibition, visitors can get a tarot reading, interact with art installations, and more.

To join in on the eclipse celebration, simply reserve a ticket for April 8th at Meow Wolf Grapevine. Those interested in attending the viewing party should secure a time slot before noon on the day of the event.

Kelly Schwartz, the General Manager of Meow Wolf Grapevine, expressed excitement for the event, stating, “Our immersive exhibition provides the perfect backdrop for an extraordinary eclipse celebration. We are thrilled for everyone to partake in spacey activities, explore the exhibition’s wonders, and revel in the unique solar atmosphere that Meow Wolf has created.”
