TiE U Sparks Entrepreneurial Spirit in College Students Worldwide

TiE U, a collaborative effort between TiE Global and TiE chapters across North America, Europe, and Asia, is dedicated to cultivating the entrepreneurial drive in college students. From nurturing ideas to securing investments, the program aims to assist students in transforming their campus projects into successful businesses.

The TiE U initiative offers college startup teams access to a range of educational resources, mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs, and participation in various events such as Global Mentoring Sessions, Startup Bootcamps, and Pitch Competitions. These opportunities serve as catalysts for turning their startup aspirations into reality.

Recently, TiE U held its sixth annual Global Pitch Competition in Silicon Valley, attracting applications from 34 teams based in seven countries. Following a rigorous evaluation process, six exceptional teams emerged as finalists, showcasing their innovative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit on a global stage.

The winners of the TiE U Global Pitch Competition for the 2023-24 season were announced as follows:
– Winner: MabLab from New York
– 1st Runner Up: doorstep.ai from Atlanta
– 2nd Runner-Up: Kiwi Charge from Toronto

These teams demonstrated exceptional creativity and dedication, receiving cash prizes totaling ,000, with the winning team, MabLab, taking home ,000.
