‘Geely Okavango: UAE Debut with Price, Specs & More’

Geely and AGMC, their official distributor in the UAE, have introduced the new Okavango SUV in the Emirates. This new family SUV is now available in the market with various variants and color options, starting at AED 89,900.

The Geely Okavango comes in two variants:
– GL: AED 89,900
– GK: AED 96,900

Interested buyers can now book and receive deliveries for the Geely Okavango on the brand’s official website. The SUV is offered in four monotone color choices: Black, Grey, Blue, and White, with no dual-tone options available.

Powering the new Okavango is a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The performance figures for the SUV include 218hp max power, 325Nm peak torque, a 0 to 100km/h time of 7.9 seconds, and a top speed of 200km/h.

When it comes to the exterior design, the Geely Okavango boasts a sleek and modern look, with a striking grille at the front and a broad shoulder line that gives it a muscular stance. The SUV features 19-inch alloy wheels, a powered tailgate, dual-tone exterior mirrors, chrome window lines, rear spoiler, dual-exhaust tips, rear LED lightbar, and arrow-shaped taillamps.

Inside, the Okavango offers generous space with three rows of seating that can be folded flat, providing ample legroom and headroom for all passengers. The cabin is adorned with soft-touch materials on the dashboard and door panels, along with leather seats for a premium touch.

Technology-wise, the Geely Okavango comes equipped with a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment display on the top-spec trim. Additional features include Mirror Link, wireless charger, ventilated and powered front seats, 6-speaker audio system, 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, 6 airbags, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
