First Utility to Launch Smart App on Apple Vision Pro

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has launched its smart app on Apple Vision Pro glasses, becoming the first utility to offer its services through this cutting-edge technology that combines augmented and virtual reality. This move is part of DEWA’s efforts to enhance customer service by leveraging the features and capabilities of Apple Vision Pro.

Through the smart app on Apple Vision Pro, customers can access a wide range of services and features, including login options such as UAE Pass, username and password, or eyeprint authentication. Users can easily identify their main customer account, select the account they want to inquire about, and view visual data using virtual touch and drag functionality.

Moreover, the app allows customers to view bill details and make payments using Apple Pay, access the Smart Living dashboard, and access consumption reports through the My Sustainable Living Programme. Each customer will also receive personalized tips to improve consumption efficiency based on their individual footprint.
