‘Finn Haney Wins Best Actor Award for ‘What We Find on the Road’ at the 2024 Pasadena International Film Festival’

Finn Haney has clinched the Best Actor Award at the 2024 Pasadena International Film Festival for his remarkable performance in the feature film “What We Find on the Road.” This achievement marks Haney’s first lead role in a feature film, showcasing his exceptional talent and commitment to the acting craft.

“What We Find on the Road” follows the story of TJ on his 18th birthday, where he receives a key from his estranged ex-convict father that unlocks a timeworn ’68 convertible, challenging him to embark on a cross-country adventure. Accompanied by a cast of endearing characters, the film explores themes of family, humor, and resilience. Alongside Finn Haney, the movie features performances by Paul Guilfoyle, Ross Partridge, Katherine LaNae, and William Chris Sumpter, each adding depth to the heartwarming narrative.

In addition to Haney’s win, the film’s first-time director, Chaysen Beacham, received a nomination for the Best Director Award, emphasizing the strong directorial vision and connection the film has with audiences.
