“Exploring the Unique Features of a New Dubai Hotel: Jennifer Lopez Among Early Guests Enjoying Luxurious Amenities”

Jennifer Lopez recently made headlines for pocketing a reported £3.9 million for singing and staying at the grand opening of One&Only One Za’abeel in Dubai. While the star enjoyed her luxurious experience, I had the opportunity to visit the new ultra-luxury resort shortly after its opening.

Upon entering my room, I was surprised to find complimentary Orange Cremes, Green Triangles, and Purple Ones from Quality Street among the champagnes and single malts in the minibar. This was just one of the many unique perks offered at One&Only One Za’abeel.

The hotel boasts soundproof walls, recording facilities, and even provides guests with a ‘complimentary Longevity Scan Index’ upon arrival. Some suites even come with a ‘mancave’ and one suite offers a free cocktail party for eight guests.

Despite staying in a ‘mere room,’ I found the accommodations to be incredibly luxurious with a walk-through wardrobe, a sofa adorned with plump cushions, a high-tech toilet with intimate cleansing functions, and a spacious bath big enough for three.

Celebrities like Naomi Campbell, Idris Elba, David Gandy, and Emma Radacanu were also in attendance during the hotel’s opening weekend, enjoying amenities like the breathtaking views from the 53-storey-high bath overlooking Dubai’s skyline.

One of the hotel’s standout features is its location in one of two 300m-tall towers, providing guests with a bird’s eye view of the bustling city below. However, this also means spending quite a bit of time in lifts due to security measures requiring guests to change lifts to access different areas of the hotel.

Despite being more conveniently located near Dubai’s business district than the beach, the hotel offers a palm-fringed pool on the 4th floor with attentive waitstaff. For an additional fee, guests can enjoy a private area hidden by palm fronds and a gate for extra privacy.

The hotel’s 27th-floor infinity pool, situated atop the world’s longest cantilever bridge, offers a stunning view and a range of amenities including cabanas, swim-up bars, and a Japanese-Peruvian bar/restaurant. With 11 restaurants on-site, guests can indulge in a variety of dining experiences, from fortune-telling at Thai-style DuangDy to extravagant snacks like a £2,500 portion of caviar at late-night Sphere.

After a few days at the hotel, I found myself feeling happier, heavier (from the indulgent dining options), and with a stash of purloined Quality Street in my hand luggage. Undoubtedly, Jennifer Lopez’s hotel experience would not be complete without these sweet treats as well.
