The 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is currently captivating guests with its stunning flowers, entertainment, merchandise, and more. Disney has revealed that three specific topiaries are especially enchanting this year, blending nature and technology to create a magical experience.

Asha, Valentino, and Star, Miguel and Dante, and Groot topiaries are receiving special attention for their innovative design and features. At the festival entrance, guests are welcomed by Asha, Valentino, and Star from the film “Wish” by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The topiaries incorporate lighting and textures to enhance their beauty and charm.

One of the highlights is the first-ever projection-mapped topiary in Mexico featuring Miguel from the movie “Coco” by Pixar Animation Studios. Miguel is depicted in his mariachi attire with his great-great grandfather’s guitar, accompanied by Dante in his alebrije form flying over a marigold bridge. The use of projection mapping technology adds an element of surprise and brings the characters to life in a unique way, especially during evening hours.

The festival is not just a display of nature’s beauty but also a showcase of technological innovation where Disney characters are brought to life in ways that were previously unimaginable. The collaboration between various teams has pushed the boundaries of creativity to create these new, innovative topiaries that add an extra touch of magic to the festival.
