‘Exciting Science Festival in Nebraska Presents Weeks of Activities’

The Nebraska Science Festival is set to kick off soon, offering a variety of events aimed at showcasing how science impacts the lives of adults and children in fun and engaging ways. This annual festival, which was started ten years ago by the University of Nebraska Medical Center, will run throughout April.

The festival features a range of activities, including a “Become a Storm Spotter” night at the University of Nebraska at Omaha campus on March 26 and a monthlong moonwalk challenge. UNMC, the state’s public medical and research center, launched the festival in 2013 and has received support from various organizations. The main aim of the festival is to make science accessible, interactive, and relevant to people of all ages.
