The Emile Awards Are Back! European Animation Awards to Return After 6 Year Hiatus

Great animated films come from talented authors and skillful artists, and Europe can be proud of its diverse and fertile animation community. The Emile Awards celebrate and honor the talent and achievements in animation from independent animators to animation studios.

After two successful editions in Lille, France, followed by a pandemic-induced suspension, The Emile Awards are back. Under the guidance of a group of animation professionals from throughout Europe who make up the organizing committee, the ceremony will be hosted by ANIMASYROS International Animation Festival.

The Emile Awards Ceremony will be held on Monday, the 23rd of September 2024, at the historic Apollon Municipal Theatre of Hermoupolis of Syros Island, Greece. An official press conference will be held in June both at the World Festival of Animated Film Animafest Zagreb and the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
