Etihad Airways and Royal Air Maroc Strengthen Partnership for Enhanced Customer Experience

Etihad Airways and Royal Air Maroc have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance their commercial and operational collaboration, providing more options and better services for their customers. The aim of this agreement is to offer travellers increased choices, superior services, and added value, while also promoting sustainable aviation.

Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, stated that the partnership will involve expanding existing codeshare agreements to include more domestic routes in Morocco and Africa. Additionally, the collaboration will explore opportunities for cooperation in frequent flyer programmes, ground handling, maintenance, and engineering.

Abdelhamid Addou, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Air Maroc, expressed pride in the partnership with Etihad Airways, emphasizing the alignment with their goal of improving connectivity and enhancing the travel experience for passengers through their respective hubs.

The existing codeshare agreement allows customers of both airlines to benefit from enhanced connectivity to destinations across their networks, including Morocco, the UAE, Africa, and beyond. Passengers can book their entire journey on a single ticket and have their baggage checked through seamlessly to their final destination.

This partnership between Etihad Airways and Royal Air Maroc signifies a commitment to offering a seamless and convenient travel experience for passengers, with a focus on expanding choices and improving services for all travellers.
