Enhancing Parliamentary Cooperation Discussed between UAE and Oman

The First Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), Dr. Tariq Humaid Al Tayer, met with Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al Ma’awali, Chairman of the Shura Council of Oman, in Algiers on the sidelines of the 36th conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union. The two leaders discussed ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation and stressed the importance of exchanging visits and meetings between their respective sides.

During the meeting, they also addressed various issues on the agenda of the conference and highlighted the strategic partnership and cooperation between the UAE and Oman in different sectors. The meeting was attended by several FNC members as well.
