Enhancing Digital Transformation Through AI-Managed IT Infrastructure

McCormick & Company is ramping up its digital transformation efforts by leveraging AI-powered automation to manage its global tech infrastructure. By partnering with Cognizant, the company aims to enhance full-stack visibility, optimize IT landscape, and streamline processes in a scalable manner that enhances user experience. This initiative is expected to introduce self-service capabilities, boosting productivity and reducing operational costs. Over the next five years, this investment will impact McCormick’s presence in 150 countries and territories, with 80 global sites and 13,000 employees.

Sarah Aronovici, McCormick’s VP of IT service and solution delivery, emphasized that this initiative will accelerate the global transformation of the company’s core technology infrastructure. CEO and president Brendan M. Foley highlighted that the company will prioritize investments in key growth areas such as brand marketing, new products and packaging, category management, and proprietary technology.

In line with optimizing IT infrastructures, the Analytics Unite event on May 1-3 will address strategies for leveraging analytics in the retail and CPG industries. Key speakers include experts from Dollar General, Haleon, Target Corporation, Victoria’s Secret & Co., and Procter & Gamble who will share insights on maximizing infrastructure for analytics to drive actionable decisions and ensure success in the digital transformation journey.
