Michael W. Hall, a 1995 graduate of MSU’s mechanical engineering program, has had a successful career as the former managing principal of Mas Energy LLC and the founder and CEO of Shady Grove Road Investments LLC. Hailing from Pontotoc County, Hall now splits his time between Nashville, Tennessee, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In addition to his professional achievements, Hall was recognized as a 2022 Distinguished Fellow for the Bagley College of Engineering.

This transformation of the Department of Mechanical Engineering into a named academic school reflects Hall’s commitment to his alma mater and the field of mechanical engineering.
