Emma Streets appointed as ‘head of the north’ by Tigerbond

Tigerbond, an integrated communications agency, has expanded its presence in the north of England by appointing Emma Streets as the new associate director. Streets will be leading the crisis and corporate communications team while also taking on the role of the company’s first head of the north, focusing on empowering teams in Leeds and Manchester, influencing positive change, and mentoring professionals across the entire UK business.

With over 20 years of experience, Streets brings a wealth of expertise in various industries and channels, including social media, crisis management, and online reputation management. She has previously worked in integrated brand and specialist PR agencies, overseeing national and global communications programs for clients in FMCG, ecommerce, logistics, maritime, and not-for-profit sectors. Streets also spent time in-house leading PR and reputation management for a major UK delivery company, Evri.

Rachel Gladwin, co-founder of Tigerbond, expressed excitement about the appointment, highlighting the agency’s commitment to expanding its northern presence. The move comes as Tigerbond solidifies its position in the region with offices in Leeds and Manchester.

In a statement, Streets shared her enthusiasm about joining Tigerbond, emphasizing the agency’s dedication to embracing its northern heritage and adapting to the evolving landscape of PR practices. Streets noted the importance of integrating online and traditional PR strategies, particularly in the realms of crisis and corporate communications.

In addition to Streets’ appointment, Carina Everest has returned to Tigerbond as a senior account manager on the consumer team in the London office. Everest, who previously worked at Tigerbond but left to live in France, expressed her excitement about rejoining the agency and contributing to the growth of the consumer brand offering.

Established in 2021 through a management buyout, Tigerbond is a full-service communications agency with offices across England, Scotland, and Ireland, as well as a joint venture in Canada called Tartanbond. The agency, which has 100 employees, was ranked 5th out of 100 UK agencies in Campaign’s Best Places to Work list last year. Tigerbond was also a finalist in the DE&I category at the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards.

As part of its commitment to sustainability, Tigerbond established a dedicated sustainability practice, TigerB, in 2022 and has pledged to embark on the B Corp journey.
