Phnom Penh, situated in Cambodia’s south-central region, is a pivotal economic, industrial, and cultural center experiencing rapid growth in infrastructure and economy. As a popular hub for tourism and trade in Southeast Asia, the city attracts travelers from Europe and the Americas. Plans for a new international airport set to operate in 2025 aim to enhance Cambodia’s global connectivity, replacing the current Phnom Penh International Airport.
Renowned for its heritage sites such as the Royal Palace with the Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, Phnom Penh also offers access to the famous Angkor Wat temple complex near Siem Reap through Emirates’ daily services to the city and a unilateral agreement with Cambodia Air.
