‘Emirates News Agency Director General recognized with Excellence Award at Arab Media Forum’

The 19th Arab Media Forum recently awarded the Director General of the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Mohamed Jalal Alrayssi, with the prestigious “Excellence Award” at the Kuwait Creativity Award ceremony. Alrayssi was recognized for his outstanding efforts in enhancing WAM’s news content and maintaining its role as a reliable platform for sharing the UAE’s achievements on a global scale.

The ceremony, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait, saw Nasser Al-Mohisni and Madi Abdullah Al-Khamis present the award to Alrayssi. The event, held at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait, was attended by senior officials, stakeholders, as well as Kuwaiti and Arab media professionals.

In response to receiving the award, Alrayssi expressed his appreciation for the unwavering support of the UAE’s leadership towards the national media sector. He credited this support for enabling the media to play a vital role in the country’s progress and prosperity.

Alrayssi also extended his thanks to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information, the organizers of the Kuwait Creativity Award, and the Arab Media Forum for recognizing the contributions of Arab media personalities.
