‘Emirates and AIDA Cruises continue collaboration’

Emirates airline and AIDA Cruises have extended their partnership for an additional two seasons in alignment with Dubai’s goal to expand its cruise capacity. Dubai aims to become a top maritime hub with cutting-edge facilities and unparalleled air connectivity.

Emirates and AIDA Cruises will collaborate on joint marketing efforts, operational coordination, and strategic planning for flight schedules across Emirates’ network. They will also work on enhancing transportation options between Dubai International Airport and Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal.

The partnership will prioritize sharing data and insights to enhance service quality, providing specialized support teams for cruise passengers, and ensuring a seamless check-in process at Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal. Emirates will allocate capacity for the upcoming seasons to meet the growing demand for cruise packages to Dubai.

In the previous year, Emirates transported approximately 400,000 cruise passengers through Dubai cruise terminals. Dubai welcomed over 166 ships in the last cruise season, solidifying its position as the region’s primary port of embarkation and preferred stop for cruise liners. The city anticipates a 23% increase in cruise passengers for the upcoming season.
