Education Minister in UAE confirms that artificial intelligence will support teachers

Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based tutors will play a supporting role to teachers rather than taking over, according to UAE Education Minister Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi. Speaking at the World Summit of Governments in Dubai, the minister emphasized that AI technology is being used in the country to alleviate teachers from administrative burdens, rather than replacing them.

He highlighted the importance of teaching students how to effectively and responsibly utilize neural networks. In line with this, the UAE is working on developing guidelines for teachers in this aspect.

One of the key advantages of integrating artificial intelligence into education is its ability to personalize learning. AI tools can analyze the individual strengths and weaknesses of each student, allowing for a tailored approach to learning.

Overall, the UAE’s approach to AI in education focuses on enhancing the teaching process and providing students with a more personalized learning experience.
