‘Dual Solo Shows Premiere in New Shanghai Home for Longlati Foundation’

The Longlati Foundation, established in 2017 by David Su and Zihao Chen, focuses on promoting international women artists from the 20th century, post-90s Chinese art, and cultural diversity. Recently, the foundation relocated to the Jing’an District of Shanghai on Wen’an Road, marking a new chapter in its journey.

To celebrate this milestone, Longlati is currently showcasing two inaugural solo exhibitions that premiered on April 3, 2024. The first exhibition, “Pol Taburet: Anamorphosis,” presents a collection of recent works by the French artist Pol Taburet, known for his paintings and installations. This exhibition is Taburet’s first solo show in Asia and highlights his experimental approach, incorporating influences from pop culture, art history, folklore, and mythology.

On the other hand, the second inaugural exhibition at Longlati features the Polish artist Tomasz Kręcicki in “Tomasz Kręcicki: Light as a Feather.” This exhibition showcases sixteen paintings created by Kręcicki over the past year, known for his unique graphic style and portrayal of light in his artwork.

Both exhibitions offer visitors a glimpse into the creative worlds of these two distinct artists and are on display at the Longlati Foundation until August 16, 2024, and May 22, 2024, respectively. The juxtaposition of Taburet’s and Kręcicki’s works at Longlati emphasizes the foundation’s commitment to innovative exhibition programming and provides a platform for art enthusiasts to immerse themselves in diverse artistic practices.

If you are interested in experiencing these exhibitions firsthand, you can visit the Longlati Foundation located at 4th, 30 Wen’an Road, Jing’an District, Shanghai. Don’t miss the opportunity to engage with the transformative art showcased at this dynamic cultural space.
