The Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Terrance Drew, will be working abroad from April 10th to April 19th, 2024, to meet with potential investors in the Middle East. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss major geothermal investment projects that align with the sustainable development goals of the Federation.

The outcomes of these meetings in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai could have a significant impact on advancing the sustainable island state agenda of Saint Kitts and Nevis. Successful partnerships formed during this trip have the potential to pave the way for the implementation of innovative geothermal projects and could serve as a model for other small island states.

During Dr. Drew’s absence, Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Geoffrey Hanley will act as the Acting Prime Minister to ensure the smooth operation of government affairs. This opportunity to engage with potential investors abroad demonstrates the government’s commitment to economic development and sustainability in the Federation.
