Deal to construct the first AI integration facility in the UAE

World Wide Technology (WWT), a prominent technology integrator based in the US, has announced a strategic partnership with NXT Global to establish the UAE’s first AI integration center.

This cutting-edge facility will position the UAE as a global exporter of advanced AI infrastructure, solidifying its reputation as a leader in technological innovation. The collaboration between WWT and NXT Global, known as WWT NXT Global, aims to leverage AI capabilities to drive the country’s future economy.

Yousef Al Otaiba, Ambassador of the UAE to the US, praised the creation of WWT NXT Global for promoting continuous AI innovation between the two countries. This partnership, alongside recent announcements with Microsoft and G42, strengthens the bond between the US and the UAE.

Nasser Ahmed Khalifa Ahmed Al Sowaidi, Chair of NXT Global, expressed excitement over the launch of the AI integration center in Masdar City, highlighting its sustainability and global significance. The goal is to support the UAE’s vision of becoming a top player in AI technologies by providing the necessary infrastructure and expertise.

Omar Mir, International Board Member at WWT, emphasized the partnership’s role in advancing Abu Dhabi and the UAE’s AI ambitions. The new AI Integration Center and AI Proving Ground in Masdar City will be a pioneer in sustainable technology development.
