‘Damian Lewis thrilled to showcase talents at Latitude Festival’

Actor Damian Lewis is gearing up for his biggest musical performance yet at the upcoming Latitude Festival in Suffolk. Known for his roles in Homeland and Once Upon A Timeā€¦ In Hollywood, the 53-year-old will grace the Second Stage at the event in July.

Although primarily an actor, Lewis released his debut album, Mission Creep, last year and has been on tour, working on his second album. He expressed his excitement about the upcoming gig, calling it a “huge privilege” and a moment he feels grateful for. With potentially 8,000 people in attendance, this gig marks a significant milestone for Lewis’s music career.

Lewis reflected on his journey into music, mentioning his past experiences busking in Europe and forming bands for wrap parties. What started as a casual interest quickly turned into a serious venture, with Lewis now focused on recording his second album, aiming for a release by the end of the year.

In addition to his music endeavors, Lewis feels honored to read the Invictus poem at the 10th-anniversary ceremony of the Invictus Games at St Paul’s Cathedral in London. Despite being asked by someone from the charity, Lewis looks forward to contributing to the meaningful event.

With diverse acts like Duran Duran and London Grammar on the Latitude Festival lineup, Lewis is excited to be part of the cultural fusion the festival offers. Set to take place from July 25 to 28, the festival promises a blend of electrifying music, engaging performances, and immersive experiences for attendees to enjoy.
