“Daily Flights to Abu Dhabi Now Available with British Airways”
British Airways Resumes Flights Between London and Abu Dhabi
British Airways (BA) has recently reintroduced flights between London Heathrow (LHR) and Abu Dhabi (AUH) after a four-year hiatus. The British flag carrier now offers daily non-stop scheduled services between the two destinations, using a Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
The first flight arrived at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport on April 21, marking the return of this important route. The reintroduction of the route aims to strengthen connections between the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, expanding British Airways’ global network.
“We are thrilled to launch our Abu Dhabi route once again. The new daily flight provides seamless connectivity between Abu Dhabi and London Heathrow, offering our customers access to another fantastic destination within our extensive network and enhancing our ties with the UAE,” said Calum Laming, Chief Customer Officer at British Airways.
The resumed services cater to passengers traveling for various purposes, including leisure, business, and visiting family and friends. The convenient flight schedule for the summer and winter seasons offers flexibility for travelers between the two cities.
