‘Contract awarded to dnata by Etihad Airways for multiple years’

dnata Secures Multi-Year Catering Contract with Etihad Airways at Boston Logan Airport

dnata, a leading provider of catering and retail services, has recently been awarded a multi-year contract by Etihad Airways in the U.S. This new partnership will involve dnata providing inflight catering services to the Abu Dhabi-based airline from its facility at Boston Logan Airport (BOS).

Under the agreement, dnata’s teams will be responsible for producing over 125,000 meals annually to cater to Etihad Airways’ four weekly flights to Abu Dhabi, beginning on March 31, 2024.

Peter DeVito, Chief Executive Officer of dnata Catering North America, expressed his excitement about the exclusive catering supplier appointment, stating, “Our experienced team is dedicated to consistently delivering outstanding culinary products that enhance the passenger experience. We are committed to working closely with Etihad and investing in our people, infrastructure, and products to excel in everything we do.”

With a team of more than 1000 hospitality professionals spread across 12 airports in the United States, dnata currently provides catering and retail services to 40 airlines. In the 2022 to 2023 financial year, the company delivered 1.5 million meals for 8000 individual flights at Boston Logan Airport, as stated in a press release dated April 2nd.
