Congratulations to Al Ain on their impressive second AFC victory

UAE leaders have extended their congratulations to Al Ain Club for their historic win against Japan’s Yokohama F Marinos in the AFC. President Sheikh Mohamed showed his pride with a single-word statement in Arabic, cheering for the champions.

Describing the team as the “representatives of UAE football,” Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, commended the team and the fans who supported them throughout. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, praised the team’s fighting spirit and reminisced about the “beautiful memories of Emirati football” that were brought back.

The team also updated their profile picture on social media platform X, now displaying two stars to mark their second Asian Champions League title. Al Ain created history with a dominant 4-1 victory over Yokohama F Marinos, securing their place in the record books.
