Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has recently announced the completion of construction works on internal roads and streetlighting in various areas including Margham, Lehbab, Al Lesaili, and Hatta.

The project, covering a total distance of 35 km, involved the construction of 18 km of new roads and the installation of lighting poles along another 17 km of existing streets. Additional road works are currently underway in Lehbab and Al Lesaili to cater to the needs of local residents.

In Margham, roads stretching 5 km have been constructed near Skydive Dubai along the Dubai-Al Ain Road. The project includes road pavements, rainwater drainage networks, and streetlights, benefiting over 1,100 residents.

Similarly, in Lehbab, the internal roads project covers a 4 km stretch, along with infrastructure works for rainwater drainage and streetlights. Lighting works on existing streets extending 2 km at the Dubai-Hatta Road next to Lehbab Camels’ Racetrack are also part of the project, serving more than 3,000 residents.

Al Lesaili has seen internal road works spanning 7 km, including street lighting for existing roads near Saih Assalam, Last Exit, and Al Qudra Lakes over 7 km. This project aims to serve around 2,900 residents and improve the entry/exit points of the area.

Lastly, the project in Hatta involves the construction of roads extending 2 km in Suhaila, along with necessary infrastructure works like rainwater drainage and streetlights. Serving approximately 6,000 residents, this initiative improves entry/exit points and enhances connectivity for the newly developed residential community with the road network.

Overall, these developments highlight RTA’s commitment to enhancing the infrastructure and quality of life for residents in various areas of Dubai.
