Mondelez International, Inc. has announced the return of its CoLab Tech program for another year, targeting early-stage companies that have made strides in the fields of nutrition, ingredients, packaging, and sustainability. The program is specifically designed for startups that have reached a minimum viable product stage in their development and have at least five employees.
Cohorts selected for the program will have the opportunity to participate in an eight-week curriculum that includes virtual sessions, one-on-one mentoring, and the possibility of proof-of-concept testing. The main goal of the program is to foster innovation in Mondelez’s core categories of chocolate, biscuits, and baked snacks. Selected cohorts will collaborate with Mondelez’s R&D team to accelerate growth and technologies.
Ian Noble, vice president of R&D at Mondelez International, highlighted the importance of embracing new technologies and tools to meet the evolving preferences of consumers. “As consumers increasingly prioritize personal well-being, sustainability, and unique eating experiences, we must turn to visionary entrepreneurs who have developed cutting-edge solutions to shape the future of snacking,” he said.
Applications for the CoLab Tech program are set to close in early summer. Interested startups can apply by visiting https://www.snackfutures.com/res/innovation-portal/colab-tech.jsf.
