Cast Change Announced for ‘Una noche de Zarzuela’ at Teatro de la Zarzuela

The Teatro de la Zarzuela announced a cast change for the upcoming “Una noche de Zarzuela” concert on May 26, 2024. Lisette Oropesa had to cancel her participation in the concert due to family obligations. In her place, Sara Blanch will be stepping in to join tenor Ismael Jordi and pianist Rubén Fernández-Aguirre on the same date.

Sara Blanch, a well-known performer who has graced stages at prestigious theaters such as the Salzburg Festival, Rossini Opera Festival, and the Gran Teatre del Liceu, will bring her talent to the concert. The company also stated that spectators who wish to receive a refund for their tickets can do so between March 4 and May 12.

Fans of Zarzuela music can look forward to a stellar performance despite the cast change, with Sara Blanch poised to impress alongside her fellow musicians.
