‘Carrie Underwood slips and falls after performing at rain-soaked festival’

Country music superstar Carrie Underwood was not about to let a little rain dampen her performance at the Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Despite a torrential downpour, Underwood returned to the stage to finish her headlining set with her hit song, “Before He Cheats,” delivering a passionate performance in the driving rain.

As the show came to an end and Underwood made her way off the rain-soaked stage, she unfortunately slipped and fell on the wet stairs. Thankfully, the eight-time Grammy winner was not injured in the fall. She even took to social media to share footage of the rainy finale, showing her dedication to her fans by stating, “We won’t let a little rain stop us! We won’t let a massive downpour stop us, either!”

Despite the slip, Underwood is continuing her tour and is scheduled to perform in Canandaigua, New York on June 21, followed by her first-ever live shows in Hawaii in late July.
